Why do I have a link next to one account that tells me I have one check to print.

You probably have "Print" in the Check # or Reference # field of a transaction. Remove that. You can use the Quicken Find command to find it.
Quicken user since version 2 for DOS, as of 2025 using QWin Premier (US) on Win10 Pro & Win11 Pro on 2 PCs.
