Hello, can I select multiple transactions and give them a "tag" the same for reporting on? My 2007 for mac Quicken you could use even memo's for sorting for precise reporting. But this does't seem to have it for report so will I need to go and give the transitions each a certain "tag" instead of relying on memo? Thanks William

You sure can. Open a single account register or a group register (eg. Banking, Credit Cards). Select the multiple transactions using macOS standard command-click and/or shift-click method. (You may want to use the search box, top right, and/or the popup filters to narrow the displayed transactions first.)

Then select menu File > Get Info. You will see the option to apply tag(s) to the transaction. Enter your tag(s) in the box and choose Add to Existing Tags or Replace All Tags. Click OK and you're done.

Just keep in mind that this global edit feature will only apply the new info to the parent of a transaction. It will not apply it to splits in a transaction.
