Bill-Pay made on the Chase Bank phone app or Web Site does not automatically load into Quicken. How do I correct this?

I believe that is normal for Chase.  I know that with my CU, the billpay transactions I create via their website or phone app do not download to Quicken until the payment is actually finalized when the recipient's financial institution takes the money from the originating FI, just like writing a paper check.
If I want it in Quicken when I generate it, I have to enter it manually.

    Doc D,
Based on reading other Chase-related posts on this forum, the Chase bill pay instructions did download to Quicken if you were using Direct Connect (DC) to download transactions and had Chase online bill pay enabled.

Unfortunately the new Express Web Connect + (EWC+) method is only way only, it will only download transactions after the transactions are posted. You will no longer be able to download the bill pay instructions.

Chris, I’ve read that article. It does not seem to clearly state that discontinuation of DC will eliminate downloading of payment instructions.

Agreed.  I asked for that article to be updated with that information, and I thought it was, but as I read it again it isn't clear that the "syncing down" goes away too.
