My bank account balance in my personal checking on quicken is showing $2000 more than what is actually in my bank account. How do I fix this to show the accurate amount?

    Hello @Jamie Bair,

Thank you for reaching out to the Quicken Community, though I do apologize that you are experiencing this issue.

Before I can further assist you, I require some more information. Which financial institution are you experiencing this issue with? What is the connection method with said financial institution? You can see the connection method by navigating to Tools > Account List. Are you receiving any error codes or messages when attempting to download transactions? When did you first notice that your balance was incorrect?

I look forward to your response.

Chase is my bank, and I don't see where it says the connection method. I am not receiving error codes either. I have already talked to a specialist, and they could not help me. I have been trying to figure this out for over an hour now! I believe it is my pending transactions that may be causing it to look like I have more in my balance then what should be there currently. I have looked for a way to turn that off, but the hourglass is not there. I am beyond frustrated and at this moment really regretting my purchase of this subscription.

    Hello @Jamie Bair,

We are sorry about this problem with online banking services that seems to be continuing. Thank you for answering out earlier questions, and for providing additional detail about the situation.

Unfortunately, given the nature of this issue, it will be necessary to reach out to Quicken Support. You can do this with the information provided in this link. They will need to document and troubleshoot this issue in greater details with the resources and tools uniquely available to them. I do wish that we could provide more advice from the Quicken Community, but Support's help will be necessary in this situation.

I hope that is helpful, and feel free to reach out with any additional questions or concerns.

    Thank you,

    Quicken Jared

I have just installed Quicken and connected my accounts, and I am having this very same problem! I will contact Quicken support as well, but this is not getting off to a good start at all.
