Hide account gets Quicken stuck

I am trying to hide account. When I do, the system hangs up and have to go to task manager to quit quicken. Also, I had an issue that I have to reenter my password everytime I start quicken. What is wrong?

    We do currently have an active alert regarding intermittent crashing when performing different functions in Quicken for Windows. You can follow this link to access that alert where you may bookmark it in order to remain up to date on any new information, ETAs, or resolutions that may occur.

    As for having to reenter your password, do you by chance have a data file password set up? Where is Quicken requesting your password?
