Why do I get a white screen when I try to open my Quicken 2017 delux
Hi I am a UK user and have been using my version quite happily since 2017. Because Quicken will not link to an UK banks etc I have not taken up the the new subscription service as it does not give me anything.
The version on my PC is now running slow and I want to copy that old data on to a laptop as a history copy and start again on my PC. When I load Quicken 2017 Delux on the laptop it loads OK and I can load up the backup file from my PC successfully. The data flashes up on the screen then disappears to be replaced by a white screen.
I know that the data is there but it is invisible and all of the normal headings etc and invisible.
What am I doing wrong?

Hi Splasher and anyone else with a work around. Will welcome any suggestions. Exact same symptoms as Huggy79. Using 2017 Home & Office. Working perfectly on my old desktop running Win 10. Now running Win 11 on new desktop. Transferred files, re-installed Quicken, but even though I know the file is open (flashes by just as in Huggy's case) but then all disappears and turns into a white screen. Unfortunately, cannot use the "copy config file" suggestion. all old drives from former desktop have been wiped. Any suggestions for a patch.
Help & Thank you in advance
Andrew

If you don't have a copy of the config file from your old computer, you're out of luck.
