Why isn't my new brokerage account appearing in any of my existing reports?
I created a new brokerage account and downloaded transactions. And then I added that account to various existing reports. i.e. Account Balances, Net Worth, etc. However, this new account is not appearing in my reports.
I've tried rebooting. I've tried de-selecting and re-selecting the account. No dice.
I've tried creating new reports from scratch. The new reports do show the new account. But I'd rather not have to re-create all the options that I selected for the existing reports.
Any ideas why this account isn't showing up in my existing reports and how to fix it?

It is possible that this is a quirk of the newly "improved" report customization interface.
Go to Edit > Preferences > Early Access and un-check the Customize Reports box if it was checked, then try adding the account again.
If the box was checked an un-checking it fixes the problem for you, please let us know and also use the Help > Report a problem link to let Quicken know as well.

Hi Jim
Thanks for the suggestion, but I don't see "Early Access" in the Preferences window.
I'm running version R52.33, Build 27.1.52.33 on Win10 office, if that information is relevant

I just tried updating Quicken. Now running version R53.21. Still have same issues

"Early Access" was a feature added to Preferences with R53.16 (but it was not mentioned in the Release Notes). Now that you have updated your Quicken installation to R53.21 you should be able to see it.:
If the issue is not resolved by deselecting Early Access or if Early Access is not already selected then I'm thinking your saved reports might be corrupted. I have seen a few (not many) other posts in which someone said after they had updated to one of the R53.XX versions their customized Saved Reports could no longer be customized or if they could be customized the new customizations could not be saved.
If that is what has happened to your reports the only thing you can do is to pull up the default reports, customize them as desired and then save them to My Saved Reports. You can either give them a new customized name or save them over the existing reports in My Saved Reports. (When it happened to me several months ago, I just saved them over the existing reports and they have been working well ever since.)

Thanks for the info. Yes, Early Access is available after updating. However, the options were unchecked. I tried selecting and de-selecting them. Still no change.
And you may be right about the reports being corrupted. However, this problem occurred BEFORE updating to R53.xx (I was still running 52.33).

If this is a corrupted saved reports issue (which it sounds like it is) it is not unique to or perhaps not even caused by any specific version update. For me it happened in the first few months of 2023….long before any R52.XX or R53.XX versions were released. A quick search of this issue brought up other post threads regarding this issue going back at least as far as 2018. But based on the relatively few threads about this subject it doesn't appear to be a very common or prevalent issue.
But it does appear to occur most frequently after doing a version update. So maybe it is something in the update process itself and not any specific version update that is the potential cause?
