Random transactions don't download
We enter all transactions manually in order to properly categorize them down to the last split. So when a transaction fails to download for weeks, it is noticed.
DC connections are perfect, as always. EWC+ is giving me a headache.
This is not specific to any FI. I get this issue from my bank & credit cards. 90% of transactions download, but occasionally, 1 or 2 will be left behind. I see them on the FI sites and manually mark them cleared. I wonder what causes this and why it appears to be random.

I thought you were up to speed on the fact that transactions have been missing from Express Web Connect + (and maybe Express Web Connect) since about the beginning of the year.
This has been going on for so long, people have even stopped talking about it.
Happening on Quicken Mac too so it has to be one of the servers, my guess is the Quicken server, not the Intuit one.

P.S. look for another transaction that has the same amount that downloaded and in about the same time frame, I think you will find it.

No, that's not it. The missing transactions are truly random; dates & amounts differ from other transactions.
OK, it's been discussed. But not solved. I'd like a solution.

It is interesting that it is random. Even though the "duplicate" one seems more common, I certainly wouldn't doubt there are other situations where it is messing up.
As far as a solution, we are going on 4 months, doesn't exactly instill confidence that they will get it fixed.

I have an EWC (not +) FI where transactions on the last day or 2 of the statement period do not download, particularly if I don't download for a few days around that end of statement period date. It seems that the table of transactions that Quicken accesses becomes unavailable.
This issue coincides with the FI website list of transactions starting with the new statement period. I'm guessing the API Quicken uses to create/access a data table looks at statement periods rather than something like "Last 60 days" of transactions.
