Phantom paycheck keeps coming back
How do I get rid of a stuck phantom paycheck transaction that keeps coming back every two weeks when I download transactions on payday? I constantly have to delete this transaction as the figures are wrong, but I can't figure out how to make it go away permanently.

Have you looked in Tools / Manage Bills and Income Reminders?
Usually, a paycheck with all its deductions is defined as a Scheduled Reminder, to recur every two weeks. When you locate it, click on it to highlight it then click on "Delete" in the Menu line on top of the view.

Yes, I looked there and there is no scheduled transaction for this one. I only have one scheduled paycheck transaction showing up there and it is the current/correct one with the correct values.

Without seeing what exactly happens when in your account registers, I'm afraid I won't be able to help you.
There appears to be a known issue with deleting or changing paycheck reminders. If you haven't done so already, I'd say it's time to call Quicken Support on the phone during posted hours of operation and request help. Let them do a screen share session with you to review the situation on your computer, to determine the nature of the problem and to figure out how to fix it.
