I have been unable to connect to US Bank for several days now - they say they are working on it? The chat person gave me a very time consuming attempt to fix it it did not work.

WHICH download method are you using for USB? Express Web Connect(+), which has always been flaky? Or "Direct Connect"?

I use Direct Connect and haven't had any problems downloading from them 6 days a week into 2 checking accts and a credit card.

I have 4 different USB checking accounts set up for download with EWC+ and can't remember the last time I had any issues downloading transactions.

Are you getting any error codes or messages? If so, what are they?

And what type(s) of accounts are you having this download issue with?

I am having the same problem. Started about two weeks ago.

. I deactivated the account and tried to set it up again, it goes through all the steps, I get the screen Your accounts have been authorized successfully!

You will now be redirected back to Quicken. If you are not redirected in a few seconds, you can close this window and return to Quicken

This last steps fails. At the end I get the screen saying "sorry, the sign in failed due to time out or connection error.

The account does not set up for downloads.

I even receive emails from U S Bank saying my acount has been set up for quicken downloads. —-but quicken does not see it.

I have express web connect and same problem the bank authorization works fine and then when it goes back to Quicken it says the same "sorry, the sign in failed due to time out or connection error." Can I change it to direct connect? Thanks for replies!

I am getting the same "time out or connection error" message. First time this has ever happened. :(

You need to contact Tech Support at USB to make that change. Also, USB using Direct Connect has a different FI name than USB using EWC, so you'd need to change that also.

I'm having the same problem. Tech support confirms that they have a problem, but could not give me an estimated date on when it would be fixed. That was 3 days ago.

5 days now and spent hours with tech support only for nothing to work after 5 days. Then they finally said keep checking for alerts. Still checking …

It started working again yesterday. Just added all my accounts and it did not time out again.

Problem is back again today (after working fine for several days).

I'm getting charged $3.95/month (for several years now) as an "Quicken Quickbooks access fee". That's the only institution that charges me to connect with Quicken.

    Is anyone else getting charged?

This problem connecting to US Bank is recurring.
