I went back to a backup this morning dated 6-5-2024 and it downloaded only 2 transactions that were dated 6-6-2024. Lots of transactions since then. Last good OSU was the morning of 6-7-2024.

Hello @retird,
Are you receiving any error codes or messages? Did this issue begin after a recent update? What exactly occurs when attempting to download transactions from Bank of Oklahoma?

It was noticed that Q installed something on startup on the issue computer and later I saw where my Q had auto-updated it to R57.12 which it should not have done. My second computer with different data file name did not auto-install as is normal and as it should be. It downloads transactions just fine and I have the option to update to R57.12 if I choose.
No error messages…..

Hello @retird,
Do you keep your data file in the cloud? Are you using a copy of your data file on the second device? How are you storing your file and transferring it between devices?
Let me know!

No I keep nothing in the cloud except what Q puts there by default. No I have a completely different data file on the second computer. Each computer accesses the financial institutions as a different data file. I store each data file only on the computer it is used on and transfer nothing between computers. I use 2 computers with different data files for redundancy in case 1 computer crashes or has Q issues. Each computer has it's own data file and data files are not shared at all between computers.

Hello @retird,
If you haven't already, I suggest you try signing out of your data file completely and then signing back in to refresh the registration token for your Online Connected Services. However, I do recommend that you first save a backup file prior to performing these steps.

@Quicken Jasmine THX for the reply….. I'm checking the Quicken Preference settings on the offending computer and the OSU Settings. Finding some settings not the same as I set them years ago. I have changed nothing to this point just R57.12 auto-installing. Will post what I end up with. Thus far I now have corrected some settings that seemed to have mysteriously changed and have been able to get the OSU to download transactions again and even recognized, and cleared, the manual transactions I put in for the ones that didn't download before. The OSU did lock up and didn't finish at first so I went into settings of the OSU and downloaded each FI one at a time without issue. Will do another full OSU in a day or two to see if it works, downloads transactions, and doesn't lock up. Making a list of the settings that changed on the offending computer from my default settings which are always the same on both computers until now.
The second computer still has no issues and R57.12 not installed yet but is offered to install if I tell it to install.
NOTE: I have never set up or used Mobile and Web on either computer nor is the app installed on my cell phone or iPads.

POSSIBLE FINDINGS RELATED TO NOT GETTING TRANSACTIONS DOWNLOADED: Probably an issue with the Financial Institution. Transactions made on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday are not posted until Tuesday and are available to download into Quicken on Tuesday. Recalling over the past year, or so, there were several other times OSU didn't download transactions and future OSU's didn't download the missing downloads. Each time the OSU was ran on a Tuesday.
OSU functioned as it should this morning and did not freeze..
My guess is that the auto-update of R57.12 was not related to this issue. Further comment on R57.12 auto-update in my other thread.
Will monitor….

@Quicken Jasmine …. Well no transactions downloaded this morning again. Seems that it is only doing this after no transactions get posted over the weekend (Sarurday, Sunday, and Monday) by the FI and the posting occurs early the morning of Tuedsays around 3am or so. I checked my FI's app before doing an OSU around 7:45am this morning and it shows many transactions were posted early this morning but the OSU shows none arrived in Quicken.
SORRY FOR THE MULTIPLE EDITS: I did this OSU only on 1 computer and will do an OSU on the 2nd computer later today. FED holiday on the 19th….

Did an OSU on the second computer at approximately 4pm and the transactions downloaded. No issues.
Restored backup on computer 1 and ran OSU. No transactions downloaded again. Same thing happened weekend before this one. I manually input the missing transactions in computer 1 just as I did weekend before last. Will await the next OSU on computer 1 to see if the manual entries are cleared like they were weekend before this one.
BE back…… 😊

@Quicken Jasmine …… I ran an OSU on both computers this morning. (Each computer has it's own dedicated Quicken Data file with different file names). Data files never shared anywhere.
Results in a nutshell……..
Computer 2 has not had any issues downloading transactions on Tuesdays (or any other day) as discussed in this thread. It again completed an OSU without issue…. (12 transactions downloaded).
COMPUTER 1 would not download any transactions only on Tuesday mornings after weekend transactions are posted early Tuesday mornings. Each Tuesday I manually input the missing posted transactions into computer 1. The next day I do an OSU this morning (Wednesday) and transactions download (18 transactions downloaded) AND the manual transactions I entered on Tuesday show as "Matched" by Quicken. Thus it picked up the missing transactions that didn't download on Tuesday.
I am at a loss as to why this occured on computer 1 ( the last 2 Tuesdays). Maybe on the FI'S end or at the 3rd party aggregator????? It would be nice to get a logical answer…. hopefully this won't happend next Tuesday….

June 19th Holiday stopped transactions from being posted to all 19 accounts at the Financial Institutions until early morning of the 21st. All accounts reconciled perfectly today in Quicken on both computers from statements ending on June 19. OSU'S will be ran late afternoon/early evening on June 21 hopefully with all posted transactions downloading on both computers……. looking to put this heavily documented long thread to bed……. 😊😊😊

Had a bit of time this morning so I ran the OSU's on both computers that I had planned to run later in the afternoon..
I checked my FI apps and the FI posted 16 of the 18 transactions with 2 transactions that are not posted yet. So a complete OSU today should show 16 downloaded transactions.
Computer 2 ran the OSU without issue again….
Computer 1: Strange NEW results. First odd thing noticed was when I started Quicken. A never before seen (upon startup) pop-up screen appeared immediately when the Quicken screen populated. It was the "OSU completed" screen saying that 18 transactions downloaded but they didn't download.
My computers have never been set to do an OSU at startup. So I then ran an OSU on computer 1 like I always run and the OSU completed and the 16 posted transactions downloaded. No mention of the 2 pending transaction the FI has not posted so that's as it should be…. never have turned on "pending transactions" on either computer.
SO both computers ran OSU's and downloaded the correct number of transactions. That's good.

Ran OSU's on both computers. FI apps show 2 transactions that didn't posted yesterday and 1 transaction that occured yesterday. Total of 3 posted early this morning.
Both computers completed OSU without issue. Yippy…..
Now no transactions made this Saturday, Sunday, and Monday will post at the FI's until early Tuesday morning. If the OSU's ran next Tuesday complete without issue then probably this issue can be considered fixed……. why it occured is still a mystery especially the popup at Quicken startup saying the OSU COMPLETED….. My manual OSU's alway require 2 factor authentication rolling codes twice before the OSU will run. My OSU's have never been set to run at startup. MY OSU's can't complete at startup as the FI sends a unique one-time code text which I must type into Q and this occurs twice for each OSU session……

@Quicken Jasmine I ran OSU's on both computers since transactions were posted at the FI early this morning since no transactions ever get posted over the weekend (Saturday, Sunday, and Monday's transactions) by the fI.
OSU's on both computers completed as they should have. Hopefully end of story.
Only thing I can deduce from all these issues and mysterious things happening as described in detail here is that work was being done behind the scenes by Quicken and/or Intuit and/or Bank of Oklahoma.
The biggest mysteries, as stated earlier are:
- The popup at Quicken startup saying the OSU COMPLETED without downloading….. My manual OSU's alway require 2 factor authentication rolling codes twice before the OSU will run. My OSU's have never been set to run at startup. MY OSU's can't complete at startup as the FI sends a unique one-time code text which I must type into Q and this occurs twice for each OSU session……
- How can a Quicken Update run automatically at startup when UAC is set on both computers. Only R57.12 auto-ran on computer 1 and only R57.16 auto-ran on computer 2.
THX QJ for following this thread….
