Transfers

Why are all transfers sub-categorized a personal expense and added into the personal expense category in reports? I can't seem to find any way to separate them.

First, can I confirm if you are using Quicken Mac? You posted in a Quicken Mac section of the forum, but the screenshot didn't seen to be a Quicken Mac format I recognize, and when I look at your profile, your past discussions have been about Quicken Windows.

[EDIT: A moderator has now moved your post to a Quicken Windows section of the forum.]

Yes, that is the Quicken Windows Annual budget view.

Personally, I never include any reminders in a budget, a transfer is an exchange between accounts neither expense nor income, but you are basically forcing Quicken to make such a choice, and all it has to go by is the "direction" or the transfer.

"TO" is put into the "Expense" section and "FROM" is put into the "Income" section.

No, I alerted the Moderator for it, and it was moved to a Windows category.
