Register Column Widths Changing on Exit of Register

Recently Column Widths in some registers are changing the column widths after exit of the register. The columns that seem affected are Date, Increase, Decrease and balance. This only appears to happen on registers with a type of "Loan" (I would change the account type, but there is no option for this!).

Also, the column filter "Reset" button floats in the display, but are not clickable.

Adding/removing columns in the settings, changing from 1 line to 2 line display have no effect:

    Hello @Jon_sacks,

To start with, I suggest that you please try validating and/or super validating your data file. However, I do recommend that you first save a backup file prior to performing these steps.

    Validate:

    1. File
    2. Validate and Repair File...
    3. Validate File
    4. Click OK
    5. Close the Data Log
    6. Close Quicken (leave it closed for at least 5 secs)
    7. Reopen Quicken and see if the issue persists.

If the issue persists, proceed to Super Validate. If the issue is resolved after performing validation, then please disregard the instructions to Super Validate. Super Validate:

    1. File
    2. Hold CTRL + Shift and click Validate and Repair File...
    3. Super Validate File
    4. Click OK
    5. Close the Data Log
    6. Close Quicken (leave it closed for at least 5 secs)
    7. Reopen Quicken and see if the issue persists.

    I hope this helps!

Is there something peculiar about your system setup? Screen size, resolution, screen magnification greater than 125%?

Do you use multiple monitors of different sizes and resolutions? Quicken doesn't seem to "like that very much".

Any other suggestions? This behavior has continued in Version R58.14 Build 27.1.58.14.

This has been confirmed by Quicken that it is a bug, case #11292345 has been opened and escalated to Tier 3 support.

The issue started after version R57.25/27.1.57.25 in July.

    Update:

Tier 3 support case #11292836. No date on a resolution, but all conditions confirmed.

Only work-around is to remove pop-up registers and column widths will stay (edit/preferences/register/pop-up registers), but this does not solve the "Reset" button issue and you can only view registers in full window mode (not really a work-around).
