Bank of the James Unable to Connect / Download
Once again cannot download via Direct Connect. Long wait time to call support. Called bank and they are uncooperative. Got the 293-A error… went through all the "steps" … finally manually downloaded and imported transactions. Now I need to "reset account"… still won't connect with Direct Connect… Can support please get this resolved. Thanks.

Updating transactions involves Quicken requesting information from your bank and the bank responding with correct information. An OL-293-A error indicates Quicken did not receive the expected response from the bank.
You may follow this link to access a FAQ that provides more information and troubleshooting steps. It is recommended to save a backup before proceeding (just in case).
