too many steps!

Question

For the past week, when I update my accounts I have to sign in to Quicken.com and type in a security code sent to my phone.   This is after I use my password to my Quicken app and before I use my update accounts password. I want to skip those middle steps and just use my passwords…which I have been doing for many years.  Is there a button I can click to eliminate the middle two steps.

It is now working properly.  I did log out and log back in, but I also discovered that after I increased the memory for my One Drive, last week, the Quicken files were moved from my computer to One Drive (I don't remember being notified that would happen!).  The Quicken files are now on my computer, not in the "cloud." Whichever worked, thank you…all…for the suggestions.

I would try logging off of the Quicken account and logging back in to refresh your Quicken authentication.

Or is this a matter of you being prompted to enter your Quicken ID and PW before OSU will start?

If so, that sounds to me like perhaps your data file's Cloud Account needs to be refreshed.  What normally works for this is to go to Edit > Preferences > Quicken ID & Cloud Account > Sign in as a different user > follow the prompts to sign out > when prompted, sign back in with your CURRENT Quicken ID and PW.

Let us know if this resolved the issue for you.  If not, there are a couple of other things that can be done that can help to resolve this issue.
