Target card downloads

I was able to connect to Target credit card today through Quicken.
I downloaded the transactions and setup my password in my vault.

This is the only instance of someone actually being able to connect to their Target account through Quicken. Other threads in the community show text from Target explaining that they will no longer support direct connections to your account through aggregators such as Quicken. Is anyone else having success connecting to their account? Is there any text from Target saying that they support Quicken connections besides the QFX download?

Target worked for me today - has to re-setup the connection (Tools > Add an Account, but when you authenticate, you will need to link to existing). Express Web Connection.
Required 2 instances of 2FA.

Yep. All is well, again. Did not have to add account. Just reactivated.

I was able to reactivate after the last outage. However, it does require MFA for every One Step Update. Defeats the purpose of scheduled update, if I have to be sitting here to perform the MFA.

I'm having the same problem and it is a pain. Hopefully someone will check into it and advise on how to handle the problem.

OK, so has this problem been solved or not? I'm still have problems but not sure of how to proceed. Tried the reactivation route with no success.

Hello @ljstoel,
Thank you for letting us know you're still having problems connecting. Then known issue with CC-501 errors when attempting to connect was marked resolved on 7 April. Are you still encountering that issue, or are you seeing a different problem?
Please provide more details on what is happening when you attempt to connect/reconnect/update your Target account(s).
I look forward to your response!

Was working for a day. When issue came back support had me reactivate with Target Bank and pick advanced option of Express web connect. works once. when you close client and wait for token to expire you get prompted for authentication once again. My guess is scheduled updates is having same issue but prompt box is being suppressed. One step update summary is useless as it does not even show all the account its updates

Hello @Barry,
Thank you for letting us know you're having trouble connecting to Target. You mentioned scheduled updates. Is this problem happening when using the scheduled updates feature, during One Step Update, or both? Is everything functioning correctly until the second prompt for multi-factor authentication?
I look forward to your reply!

My guess is that I have the same issue with scheduled update The summary no longer shows all the accounts that got updates

When I run one step up dates the Target account ask for a mulit factor pass code. I select cancel and it continues to updated my other accounts. There must be away to fix this.

Thank you for your reply @Barry,
To clarify, when you get prompted for the multi-factor authentication, are you able to successfully complete that authentication and download your transactions into Quicken?
The issue with not all accounts showing in your One Step Update Summary screen sounds like a separate issue. I'd recommend creating a new discussion about that issue.
Are you able to successfully complete the multi-factor authentication? If not, what is happening?
I look forward to your response!

Yes, After I complete the multi factor authentication the download happens with no problems. I guess I will have to get a passcode each time I perform a one step update.

Thank you for the follow-up,
I'm glad to hear your transactions are downloading.
I've seen quite a few customers post about multi-factor authentication being required now. Since the financial institution determines if additional authentication is required and how often to require it, it's not something that we're able to change.
Thank you!

I have been able to connect to Target, but each day that I download transactions, I am prompted to enter a code sent via email or text. It does not seem to save the fact that I have authenticated and keeps prompting me to enter a code each time I download transactions. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Hello @Cris S,
Thank you for letting us know you're now seeing prompts for multi-factor authentication. Many customers have reported this change in behavior. Unfortunately, since it is the financial institution's decision if multi-factor authentication will be required and when/how often to require it, you may need to contact Target about this new requirement when connecting/updating your account.
Thank you!
