Bill and income reminders are not showing in scheduled transactions - how to fix it?

It applies to many my accounts, as example for a Checking account for the Bill and Income Reminders it shows 2 Due, but below I see just 1, another one isn't showing there, so I can't press to Enter the scheduled transaction.
For another account I see 3 due, but none are shown as scheduled.
This isn't new issue, but have it from time to time over past 5 years.
I reported the problem as well.

When this happens, do the missing reminders eventually appear later, or do they remain hidden until you take specific action? Have you noticed any patterns, such as certain billers or transaction types being more affected than others? Do the reminders still exist in the Bill and Income Reminders list, or do they seem to disappear entirely? If you switch between different reminder views, such as Monthly Bills vs. All Bills, does that change what is displayed? Since you’ve experienced this intermittently for years, have you noticed whether it tends to happen after specific updates or system changes?

No, I can't see any patterns.
I have over 10 accounts with appropriate scheduled Bills.
Some Bills are one time, some monthly, some yearly - all kinds.
Yes, the Bills & Income shows all Bill reminders.
I had to use Bills & Income to Enter invisible in an Account scheduled transaction as current workaround, so I had to switch from an account that got downloaded transaction and shows a number for Bill and Income Reminders with no scheduled transactions items, to Bills & Income to Enter the reminder transaction and then switch back to the account.
This is very inconsistent.

or - Auto enter [xx] days in advance
and what is the number in [xx]?

I was thinking of a possible issue with reminders set to Remind or Auto enter 0 days in advance. That takes this possible situation out of the picture and I must say that I do not remember seeing the number of events in the Bill and Income Reminders tab at the bottom of your checking account being different from the number of reminders actually listed.Do you have the setting for Reminders to show in register (small clock icon) for each of your checking accounts set to "Don't show reminders" or "Show reminders for next xx days"?
If set to "Show … for next xx days" this would show reminders as if they were real register transactions already, but with appropriate action icons in the register's Status (blue dot icon) column. That'll make it easier to spot which reminder is not showing in the tab area.0 -

I have the "Don't show reminders". I don't like to see extra rows in an account for future transactions, so its "Don't show reminders".

I'm having this same problem and have even uninstalled and reinstalled Quicken with no fix to the problem. My answers are basically the same as mikek753b .
EDIT: For some reason mine are all of a sudden showing up. Don't know what the problem was.

Expected 4, but it shows just 3.
I can't enter that missing transaction to match with the downloaded transaction. Its shown in Bills & Income view, but isn't in the account reminders.

What's so special about "Scheduled Reminder #4" that it doesn't want to show itself in the register's Reminders tab area? Can you give us some more details about it?
Does it match to the downloaded transaction in the tab area?What kind of troubleshooting have you tried already?

No, I don't know what's so special for that missing scheduled transaction, so I ask why it isn't shown that I can enter it from the account?
Yes, it suppose to match my PGE monthly bill, that I update the value for each month upon getting PGE bill.That PGE bill is shown in BILLS & INCOME, so I had to switch to that View from the account View to click at the Enter for that row and after switch back to the account to Download Transaction tab, which shown "matched" now as expected.
For whatever unknown for me reason that scheduled transaction wasn't available in the Bill and Income Reminders tab, but the Due number shown 4 as you can see from above post screenshot.
The Validate didn't help.
Those missing transactions are very random, I have no idea how to reproduce this issue.
No, I don't have auto accept or auto enter scheduled.

Is the scheduled reminder for PGE linked to PGE as an online biller? And are you paying your PGE bill using the Quick Pay or Check Pay function every month?I can't answer why the count of reminders, "(4)", is different from the number of reminders listed. Someone from Quicken will have to answer that.
And I'm hitting a brick wall when it comes to using Quick Pay or Check Pay for any recurring bill.
For my own PG&E bill and most everything else, I have always been using the biller's Direct Debit (Autopay or APS or ACH) payment service which automatically charges my checking account on Due Date. In Quicken I only have a "regular" scheduled reminder without a connection to any biller.1 -
Yes, this was / is just a bill reminder, I pay PGE and all bills via ACH from each provider side, some for a Checking, some for a Credit Card.
I've had missing scheduled in many accounts, so that isn't just for a Checking or for a Credit Card account type. Its random to me.
It happens once a week to once a month, but very random.

@mikek753b - if the missing reminder shows in "Bills & Income" but not the account register reminder window, as a workaround, I think you can click "Manage Bills & Income" and enter the reminder from there. There must be something different about the reminders that don't show in the register reminder window that causes them not to consistently show. If you click on "Change" by "Remind me 3 days in advance", you will see some settings that might need to be adjusted, or are different from the other reminders -
Otherwise, keep track of which reminders are causing issues. You can then delete and reset up those reminders and see if that fixes the issue.

yes, I do this as workaround and its annoying to jump between views that takes time to find required reminder then switch back to continue accepting downloaded transactions.
Sometimes there are 2 missing scheduled for the same account and it will be 2 roundtrips and so on.

@mikek753b do you have pending transactions turned on for the problem accounts? If so, I would try turning it off to see if that helps with the missing reminders.

this is another example, that I have today, where 1 scheduled is expected to be shown, but the list is empty even the counter shows 1

I tried On and Off for the pending transactions , it doesn't have any effect, the scheduled transaction isn't shown
