Vanguard Updating - but new Vanguard view causes Quicken crash
It appears that the one step update is sort of working again for Vanguard accounts. But there is a new view within quicken for Vanguard that shows a wrong total on the upper left hand side (it appears to be doubled) and Quicken crashes when I click on the link that shows my different holdings (I have 2 different securities). I reported this to Quicken support. Anyone else having this issue?

Hello @esaurusaitis,
Thanks for bringing this issue to our attention.
When Quicken crashes upon clicking the link to view your holdings, does it generate any error messages or crash reports, or does it simply close unexpectedly? Have you noticed if the incorrect total on the upper left updates after subsequent One Step Updates, or does it remain doubled each time? Since you have two different securities, do both appear incorrectly, or is the issue affecting only one of them? Also, does this problem occur only in the new Vanguard view, or do your holdings display correctly in other Quicken views, such as the account register or portfolio view?
Let me know what you're seeing, and we can look into this further.

The app crashes. I get a quicken crash window. The total in the upper left was still doubled after update. Both securities seem correct but clicking on either crashes the app. The crash occurs in the new view. I see the entry in the portfolio view, but clicking on the security crashes the app.

Still broken! When is this going to be fixed?

@esaurusaitis have you tried some troubleshooting steps such as doing a file validate or super validate, or uninstalling and reinstalling the Quicken program?

I have tried validate. Not sure what super validate is.
This is a problem with the new release of Quicken (Windows). I have never seen this new view of Vanguard holdings before. Then it started crashing.

@esaurusaitis Super Validate is when you do a validate but hold down Ctrl-Shift while clicking on "Validate and repair file". It may catch things that a validate might not.
