Vanguard connection problem

For the last few days (starting around 4/2/25), Vanguard accounts need reauthorized every time I open Quicken (Version 8.1.1 (Build 801.56891.100)) and update my accounts. When will this problem be fixed?

    @DanielC Try updating to 8.1.2 & see if that fixes it. They put a fix for the Vanguard connection errors in that, it might help with your problem as well.

    Correction - the problem has not gone away. Same issue when I opened Quicken this morning. I reported it again with a screenshot. Hopefully this will be fixed soon.

    I am having the same issue. I have to reauthorize Vanguard every time I log on to Quicken, even after updating to 8.1.2.

    And now it's May 3 and I still have to reconnect to vanguard accounts every single day. Using Quicken with Mac and yes everything is updated and current. Tired of paying for a subscription that fails to deliver so often.

    This problem has been going on for way to long. Is anyone at Quicken taking this serious?

    @thinair The Alert thread about this issue was marked as resolved as of May 7. Are you still experiencing the same problem since then?

    Yes the problem still exits. I am on Quicken for Mac 8.2

    The problem still exists. Connecting to Vanguard is necessary every day.

    Thank you for letting us know you're still seeing this issue. When I check on our end, it looks like you're using the Vanguard connection option and last had to reauthorize on the 23rd. I'm not seeing that you've tried updating your accounts since then. Is the issue still persisting? How long does it stay connected before demanding reauthorization?

    Thank you for letting us know you're encountering a problem. When I check on our end, I can see that you've gone through the process to re-add/reconnect your accounts multiple times, using the Vanguard Retd. Plans connection, but I'm not seeing any error messages/codes. What are you seeing on your end when you try to update your accounts? Are you using multiple login IDs with the financial institution?

    I am using my login and my wife's login with vanguard as we each have different accounts. Only message I get is the need to fix it or reconnect when there is an orange dot beside the accounts.

    Sorry for the slow response. I was out of office for a few days.

    There were issues with Vanguard connections during the time you reported this issue, but I can see they've been marked resolved. Are you still encountering this problem, or did the resolution to those issues correct it?

    I just tried to update my Vanguard account and once again had to reauthorize it. I'm running the latest version of iOS (15.5) and the latest version of Quicken (8.2.1)

    Hello @jwmerline,

    Thank you for letting us know you had to reauthorize your Vanguard account. How often are you seeing reauthorization prompts? It is normal for accounts to periodically require reauthorization. Different financial institutions require reauthorization at different intervals, but getting prompted more frequently than every 90 days indicates a potential issue.
