Report a Problem fails - too many attachments

I've added Online Backup, which adds 2 more attachments by default. Now, if I create a problem, clicking Send will pop up an error that I've exceeded the limit of 10 attachments. Closing the error will close the problem so I lose all my typing. Quicken needs to do the following:

1) Warn with the limit on the number of attachments.

2) Increase the default to 12 attachments or more.

3) If I deselect an attachment, remember it for future submissions.

4) Don't close the submission if the error pops up and I cancel it.

It is definitely a pain to lose everything I have typed because the submission fails for some reason.

And PLEASE allow basic text formatting in the description area, see this discussion (CBT-517)

I just copied your post and pasted multiple lines. See below. I copied and pasted from Word too. Your issue might be caused by the source you used. I'm using a Windows 10 PC with version R62.16 Build 27.1.62.16.

@Ray The issue is that if the text you try to paste into the "Please describe the issue" box has paragraph breaks, i.e. places where you pressed the Enter key, the Paste ends at the first break it encounters. For example, if you try to paste a multi paragraph post from this forum, the Paste ends after the first paragraph. You can paste each paragraph separately, but the formatting is lost and you end up with one big paragraph.

And when typing text into that box, the Enter key is ignored, again leading to one big, hard-to-read paragraph.

@ray, also, when attaching files to be sent to Q Support, you can ignore any file with OLD in the title, such as CONNOLD.TXT in you example above.

Eleven files are attached by default, a screenshot plus the 10 below. Unchecking them is temporary, so I looked for the files to see if I could permanently remove some. Most are in the AppData\Roaming\Quicken\Log and other's apparently generated when a problem is being reported. After reporting, all of them except QuickenAuthorizationLog.txt appear in its Feedback folder.

As I said when I started this thread, if I forget to uncheck at least one file, I'll get the following popup message. Closing the pop-up deletes the whole report. I will lose everything I typed!

Quicken should implement the 4 suggestions at the top of this thread.
