CC501 for all accounts using web express and web express plus 6-25-25 "Unable to update because of a problem with Quicken Server". This has been ongoing all day. When will it be fixed? Latest Quicken version, all patches. Windows 24H2, all patches.

Same here…Getting CC-501 error and long delay for same accounts during OSU including CC-501 issues with Capital One, too.

Same here. One Step Update freezes the entire program when trying to update any credit card. Fidelity and Wells Fargo are downloading fine. I have to CTRL-ALT-DELETE > End Task to close Quicken for Windows.

Starting today, I am unable to download transactions for all my Express Web Connect Accounts. Quicken Hangs and I need to use Task Master to close out. I have another file in which the Express Web Connect accounts do download. Using R63.21. Please help.

American Express, Discover Card, Ford Interest Advantage, Verizon Visa Card (Synchrony Bank), Wells Fargo Credit all report "needs your attention" and CC-501 as of this morning. All worked previously. Error just started this morning without any other changes to my profiles or accounts.

Wednesday, June 25th 7:30 to 8 am. No response from Quicken servers to update my accounts. (A new experience for me in several years of using Quicken.)

OSU has been problematic for me all morning long (with 5 different data files) and it seems to be affecting EWC and EWC+ accounts, not DC accounts. OSU is taking many minutes to complete but most EWC and EWC+ accounts return CC-501 error codes. I have had a few EWC and EWC+ accounts that have updated properly but it seems to be hit or miss.

I know this isn't a helpful comment, but this software is spectacular when it's working. I do not understanding paying the kind of money for a subscription to troubleshoot my own software. It would be helpful if you had some sort of alert on the software OSU screen when there is a known issue. It would save me a lot of time and frustration.

Yeah, just another "me too". Tried the usual steps (reset, logout/login, restore last known good backup, even deleted runtime.dat). OSU connects to DC accounts OK. Hangs on all EWC+. Figured I just wait until tomorrow and try again.

Me as well. And it scrambled some of my Online Billers. Restored from earlier backup and still an issue in Windows. Likely will have to redo a few accoiunts there.

Mac terribly slow to fail. On the order of 10-15 minutes. Trying OSU again now (before I read this ) Hangs at "Updating Bills". Completed with no obvious errors.

Will wait to try Windows for a while. Just makes a mess to be cleaned up again later. Verify and Repair likely needed in my experience when this come back.

Having the same issue here as of today, 6/25 (no issues on 6/24).

I did find a way to keep OSU from locking up my Quicken session: update a single account at a time:

    • Select the account you want to update
    • In the upper right hand corner of the account window, look for the gear icon.
    • Click on the gear icon for the account's pull-down menu options. Select "Update Now" (2nd item in the menu list). That starts a OSU session just for that account
    • As an alternative to the menu selection you can also use Alt-Ctrl-U to run OSU just for that account.

I'm still getting the CC-501 error but at least my Quicken session isn't locking up.

My Quicken isn't locking up, but it is slooooooow in running the Update and then returns the CC-501 errors on all accounts. I tried the recommended (in another thread) deactivation of all accounts and then re-adding them to Quicken, but that fails as well. Quicken opens the bank site which says it is authorizing access, but nothing ever shows up in Quicken to activate the account. This just started today. Hopefully, they can resolve this quickly.

This has been happening more frequently and eventually typically requires resetting each account individually, a time-consuming process…

Seems fixed. Mac was "near" painless, but Windows a mess of Online Billers saying 5 accounts were locked and contact biller. They were not. A VERY messy restore from yesterday.

Mine is now working as well. Fairly quick fix, but this stuff is happening way too often.

Selecting Fix, going through auth, and re-adding the accounts seems to have resolved, a rather convoluted way to have to restore functionality

My bank accounts did not work the morning of 6/25/2025, CC-501 errors. Couldn't fix it with support online to appointments, yet when I got back home, YES, all my banks were working with One Step Update! Sometimes patience is the key. YET, my Online Services, Setup Bill Manager, is not and has not been working for about 1.5 months.

I'm still getting CC-501 on all of my accounts after about 10 minutes of it trying to update.

Yeah, it's back. Been waiting 10 minutes for OSU EWC/EWC+. What happened to the new system alerting Quicken of an issue before a bunch of users having to complain? An Alert should precede the complaints if it really was an improvement.

I just did an OSU (7:57 am PT) and everything processed as it should. No account (DC, EWC, EWC+) or online services (Price Update, Cloud Sync) errors.

Over the last hour I ran OSU on 4 different data files, all with the majority of accounts being EWC and EWC+. The last one was completed a little before 10:00 a.m.. The OSU times were fine with all anticipated downloads occurring and no errors encountered.

I have also run several OSUs this morning without any issues, the last one at 8:21 am PT.
