    Hello @Joyriding,

Thank you for sharing your feedback! Since there is already an existing request for savings goals to be added to Quicken for Mac, I merged your post with the existing request.

    Thank you!

I help my family member use Quicken Classic on a Mac. Not having the savings goals feature is a real hindrance to some money management tasks they need to do. The Mac version deserves to be every bit as full featured as the Windows version. Particularly as one gets older, mobile apps are insufficient for managing finances. More robust tools like Quicken Classic are better!

Savings goals was a function that I used all the time in the Quicken Windows version, and I was surprised to see the Mac version does not have this basic personal finance functionality. Is this something that Quicken for Mac will include in an upcoming update? Any idea on timing?

@jwmumm Your Idea post was merged by a Quicken moderator into an existing Idea thread requesting the same functionality. If you have not yet voted for this Idea, you should jump to the first page of this long thread by clicking the [1] link above or below:

This Idea now has more than 400 votes, making it THE top-voted feature request on this site ever. It has had a status of "Under Consideration" for the past five years. That means the development team has received this request, and presumably done some analysis of what time and effort it would take to implement, but has not yet committed to putting it on their schedule. We never get any information about whether or why they view individual feature requests as higher or lower priorities, nor any indication of when a particular feature is planned for release. If it is accurate that this has not yet advanced to "Planned" status, then unfortunately I wouldn't expect to see it implemented anytime soon.
