one step update stopped working July 2025
I have read the extensive comments. I signed out and back in. Nothing. I have not seen any solutions mentioned on the numerous posts. I have the latest version of Quicken. I have deactivated and reactivated EVERYTHING. Please, this must have a solution or Quicken isn't worth having.

@D Baxter would you be able to provide a bit more information?
- What version/release of Quicken are you using? Click on Help → About Quicken.
- What financial institutions are your accounts with and what connection method? Go to your Account List (Ctrl-A) and this information is in the "Transaction Download" and "Financial Institution Name" columns.
- When is the last time you were able to download transactions successfully? Look in the "Last Download" column.
- What error messages or error codes do you get when the download fails?
This information will help with determining the cause of your issue and the troubleshooting steps to take.

Hello @D Baxter,
Not meaning to jump in too hard here—I know @CaliQkn already asked for key details (which are exactly right)—but I happened to be able to dig a little deeper into this particular issue and might be able to help pinpoint what’s going on
I can see repeated FDP-185 errors occurring with a particular financial institution linked to your file. That error generally points to a temporary issue with the connection between Quicken and the bank.
The first step for resolving FDP-185 is to wait 24 hours before attempting to connect or run One Step Update again. These errors are often cleared automatically once the connection stabilizes on the bank or aggregator side.
Let us know if things improve after that window, or if the issue persists!

This is happening to me too. It stalls for all accounts at the "downloading transactions" step. started right after I renewed my subscription. Also interesting, is to log into Quicken I've renewed my password - but to open my data I need to use the old password. Read through various digests and restartiong, reinstalling using backup account, nothing works… and there are no error message becuase it just gets stuck "downloading transactions" for hours - I have to use task manager to get out of Quicken.

Sorry forgot to add that my account renewal happened on July 1, 2025 - so started July 1 2025. Also my app won't find my data either…
