Scheduled Bill Frequency "Every 2 months" comes up every month

I'm using Quicken Classic for Windows. I have one bill that comes up every two months, so I set up the reminder with "How Often" set to "Every 2 months". After paying that bill, it comes up to remind me the next month instead of two months later. This has been the case for many years. It's a little annoying and surprising, but I haven't figured out how what I'm doing is affecting this. It's either my problem somehow, or else "every 2 months" is used so infrequently that no one else has noticed or been annoyed enough to ask for it to be fixed.

    Have you tried editing the Reminder to change the Next due date? That should reset the counting of months.

    If that doesn't work, try deleting and re-entering the Reminder, making sure to pick the correct starting month.

    Please save images to files of file type PNG or JPG only. They're easier to work with than PDF files.

    Just for the record, several reminders defined as Monthly, every x months (where x is 2 or greater) work fine for me.
