Reconciling in Mac after Converting from Windows

I'm new to MAC but have used Quicken Deluxe for Windows 20+ years. I recently had Quicken help assist with transfer from my Windows file. I just tried to reconcile a Credit Card account, it shows green check marks for cleared items. Then the window closed without giving an opportunity to select a payment source. Interestingly, it said this account had never been reconciled, yet I've reconciled it for several years. Any help is appreciated.

Hello @onadune,
Welcome to Quicken for Mac!
What you’re seeing is expected when moving from Windows to Mac. The payment source window is a Windows-only feature, so it won’t appear on Mac. Also, when you convert from a Windows file, Quicken basically copies the data into a brand new Mac file. The Mac program has no way of knowing past reconciliations from Windows, so in this Mac file it will show the account as “never reconciled.”
You can go ahead and reconcile the account on Mac as a fresh reconciliation. Just make sure your starting balance matches your last Windows reconciliation so everything stays aligned.
Hope this helps!

Wow, I had no idea that this transition would be so difficult. Sorry to say, I am not pleased to learn that I will need to manually post my credit cards when paid from my checking account.
Next question about reconcile; I currently have green dots showing cleared, but not R as in reconciled. Am I missing a step? Thanks for your help.

Green dots with a check mark in the CLR column are how Quicken Mac indicates a reconciled transaction; blue squares with a check mark indicate transactions that are cleared but not reconciled. There's no "R".

Thanks for your follow-up! Just to clarify, you don’t need to manually enter transactions in Mac—you can still use automatic downloads and reconcile using your online balance if that’s your preferred method.
Also, I agree with @Jon—what he said about the reconciliation indicators in Quicken Mac is accurate.

Thanks Anja,
I'm not interested in online downloads. I'm just trying to understand how to navigate from reconciling to showing the bill paid. It looks like I have to do more steps than I did in Windows.
Thanks for the links I'll keep studying.
another question; how do I move a transaction? I could highlight and right click in Windows and get a menu of choices, delete, move, etc Move to another account rather than delete and have to recreate.

To move a transaction just click and drag it onto the desired account in the sidebar.

To add to what @Jon mentioned, here’s a support article that goes over different ways you can move transactions.
