A name or number for ,,, account may have changed.

Yay! Quicken 8.3 is out, and yet I still have to follow the same procedure every week for accounts that have not changed their name or number in years. I do this for USAA, SCU, or Edward Jones at least once a week. I would love to know why.

    Hello @David Stempnakowski,

    Do you get this same error for each of your financial institutions (USAA, SCU, Edward Jones)?

    If so, this error usually occurs when Quicken or your bank detects a change in the account name or number, even if nothing was actually changed on your side. Please review and follow the guidance in this support article.

    If the issue persists after these steps, please contact Quicken Support for further assistance.

    Thanks for the tip, but this doesn't work for me.

    I seldom have an issue with SCU or Edward Jones. Maybe once every month or two. With USAA, it is a weekly occurance. This seems to have been occuring since USAA did the last major update on their systems.

    Since the troubleshooting did not correct the issue, please contact Quicken Support directly for further assistance, as they have access to tools we cannot access on the Community and they're able to escalate the issue as needed.
