Quicken is unable to verify Transamerica QFX downloads

For some time, after turning off the feature, Transamerica again allows you to download the transaction file to import into Quicken. However, Quicken reports an error and states it is unable to verify the financial institution.
When can and who can fix this? Transamerica appears to be at a loss as to what to do.

    Hello @trevordemaat,

Thank you for letting us know you're seeing this issue. According to our article on troubleshooting Web Connect issues, if Quicken is unable to verify the financial institution, that indicates that either the financial institution does not support downloads into Quicken for that the financial institution information in the QFX file is incorrect.

If the financial institution information in the file is incorrect, that is something that the financial institution would need to correct. Since you mentioned you already spoke to them and they were at a loss, you might need to ask them for a supervisor or a higher tier of tech support, since they would be more likely to be familiar with support for third party software like Quicken.

If they do not support Quicken, then there isn't any official fix for it other than entering transactions into your register manually. Other users may know unofficial work arounds that might help.

    I hope this helps!

Note that a financial institution can't just start creating a QFX file, they have to also get with Intuit (Quicken pays Intuit for "connected services") so that it can get a financial institution Id and be put on their list.

I searched the list of financial institutions, and I don't see Transamerica.
