Hhello…. Just upgraded my subscription to a personal and business account on MAC. The reason I did this was specifically for the rental property tab which I’ve now found out isn’t part of the MAC version. This is a huge bummer. My suggestion is to have this added. Not sure why I need the upgrade without this feature.

@MrROI If you jsut purchase the subscription upgrade and found it doesn't do what you thought it would, you should call of text chat with Quicken Support to see if they will refund your payment and downgrade you to your original subscription level. (No one can help with that on this site.)

Just for some background, Quicken for Mac historically never had a business version like its Windows counterpart. That changed two years ago when the first iteration of business features was released for Quicken Mac. Since then the development team has continued to add a lt of features for Business & Personal users, particularly with invoicing and receivables tracking. This functionality is useful for many users with small businesses even though it doesn't include all the functionality that the Windows program does. Even though there isn't specific functionality built in for rental properties, it definitely is feasible to use the features now in Quicken Mac for managing rental properties by setting each property up as its own business, and/or by adding Tags for each property to revenue and expense transactions. But if you need to specific rental property features in the Windows version, we don't know when (or if) that functionality will be added.

    Hello @MrROI,

I can definitely understand how disappointing it must feel to upgrade expecting the Rental Property tab and then find it isn’t available on Mac.

In addition to what @jacobs shared, I also want to mention that we have this active Idea post requesting Rental Property features in Quicken for Mac. It’s currently marked as Under Consideration by our development team. If this is something you’d like to see in the future, I encourage you to add your vote and follow the thread for any updates.

Your feedback helps the team prioritize new features, so the more votes and comments the Idea receives, the better!
