Discover card download error cc-508

Since 9/12 have started receiving this error. Had this account for years with no issues. Latest version of quicken classic running on windows 11. Both quicken and discover claim nothing has changed. Tried all the recommendations for clearing cache, cookies, etc but no change. Tried to deactivate and reactivate online services and now it wont even activate. Same message. Is anyone else having these issues and does anyone know what might fix it? Thanks in advance.

    Well, either quicken or discover changed something because as of this morning, it is all working again. Thanks to all who tried to help!

    Thanks but I did find and try all of this and it did not help. There is nothing when I log into the bank website and I can access transactions without any pop ups or new pages.

    Hello @Mark Shafton,

    Thank you for letting us know you're seeing this issue. If you haven't already done so, please try logging into the financial institution website using incognito mode (or equivalent) or using a different web browser than normal, since it triggers the financial institution to see the login as different from normal, which can sometimes trigger notification of the action they want you to take.

    What happens if you create a new test data file, enter the Discover account into OSU, and try to access the server?

    Kristina- Usually use firefox. Just tried internet explorer, edge, and chrome. No pop ups or new pages.

    Ralph Just tried a new data file and tried to add Discover but getting the same 508 error message.

    Since the troubleshooting did not correct the issue, I recommend that you contact Quicken Support directly for further assistance, as they have access to tools that we can't access on the Community and they are able to escalate the issue as needed.
