Question about entering a bill

When entering a bill, I type in the amount paid, and it appears as both a deposit and a withdrawal.

    You need to do a WHOLE LOT more explaining than that.

    Hello @rick har,

    Thank you for reaching out! Based on the information you provided, it sounds like Quicken may be seeing the bill payment as a transfer. Is the bill a credit card bill? If it is, do you track the credit card account in your Quicken? If so, it is most likely showing the payment as a withdrawal from the payment account and a deposit to the credit card account.
