Fidelity Bond Prices
I am curious if anyone else is having an issue with the price updates on TIPS, Treasuries & Corporates held at Fidelity.
As I understand it, Quicken grabs the individual bond prices from a file downloaded from Fidelity that is stored in the Online Center.
It is currently 6:30 am EST on 9/19/25. The timestamp on the latest file down loaded from Fidelity is 12:00 am on 9/18/25. Given that 12:00 am is the 1st minute of the new day, this file was generated 30 hours ago.
From looking at VTI (one of my holdings), the file shows a price of $325.16 which is the closing price for 9/17/25.
My portfolio shows a price of $327.21, which is the 9/18/25 closing price - which is what I would expect to see this morning. The $327.21 appears because Quicken does NOT use the price from the Fidelity file but instead downloads the security price.
Long and short, the Fidelity file that is being downloaded is outdated…it is one day behind. Where is the file generated at 12:00 am on 9/19/25? Doesn't matter for equities as their closing prices are obtained elsewhere. But it is a disaster for individual bonds. My bonds as of this moment show bond values EOD 9/17/25…because that is what is in the latest downloaded Fidelity file.
I have too many bonds to manually update.
Am I the only one experiencing this?

Hello @Snakebit12,
Thank you for sharing your experience. To clarify, did this issue start recently, or has it always behaved this way in Quicken? If the issue started recently, when did you first notice the problem? Which version of Quicken were you using when it started? Were you previously connected to Fidelity via Direct Connect? If you were, did this behavior start when you changed to the new connection method?
The value you see in your portfolio view is most likely provided by our quote service provider, assuming that the bonds have valid ticker symbols associated with them. The value you see in the account itself typically is based off of the information that is provided by the financial institution.
I look forward to your reply!

Having same issue with CDs.. Last price update was 9/19 and was only quoted to two decimal places, rather than three, make portfolio balance incorrect. No price update at all today. [Edited - Readability/Removed - Rant]

Hello @Lou Meyer,
If the information is improperly being rounded to two decimal places, then I recommend that you contact Quicken Support directly for further assistance. They have access to tools we can't access on the Community and they're able to escalate the issue as needed. The Quicken Support phone number can be found through this link here. Phone support is available from 5:00 am PT to 5:00 pm PT, Monday through Friday.
I apologize that I could not be of more assistance!
