One Step Update freezes with Quicken Classic

When trying to update my account with one-step update, quicken freezes and I have to close the entire program for it to allow me to use it again. I have re-installed, used a patch from Sept and nothing fixes this freezing. Any and all other ideas other than completely deleting and re-installing are greatly appreciate. This is the only way I work my monthly budget and this error has put me behind. I am paying for a program that does not work fully.

    Hello @Lyndsey R,

Thanks for sharing the details. Freezing during One Step Update can happen when a connected account, sync feature, or certain settings interfere with the update process. Quicken has documented several troubleshooting approaches for this scenario, including identifying affected accounts, adjusting sync settings, refreshing Online Connected Services, installing the latest patch, and validating your data file.

For step-by-step guidance, please review this support article.

    Hope this helps!

It's also possible that one or more specific Financial Institutions is causing the issue.

SO, have you tried, as an experiment, initiating the downloads one FI at a time from within an account. That might help to isolate the issue.

AND, have you tried Validating your Q data file, after taking a backup?
