Two Questions - register and security
I have attached two screenshots. One shows that every time I open certain accounts it will tell me that one of my securities doesn't match what's in my account. I select the match and click done. But it doesn't 'stick'. It asks me this question every, single, time. It's very annoying. How do I get it to stop?
The second question is…when I open certain registers, the download transactions window at the bottom of the form is ALWAYS maximized. I always minimize it. How do I get it to always be minimized as I find this annoying as well because it maximizes whether there is anything to report or not. See attachment.

Fidelity shows and entirely different symbol for that fund. Where did you get OMP4, and have you tried changing that to what's shown in the graphic?

I can't change the symbol. It is my understanding that since this particular investment sits in a 403b account that the symbol doesn't match, necessarily, any public symbol. If I try to enter the symbol that fidelity sends me, and I do a lookup, it shows me something totally unrelated to my actual investment. It is all very odd. I can't imagine I'm the only person with a 403b at Fidelity and uses quicken that would have this issue.

I was looking forward to see a response to the second part of the OP's question which states:
The second question is…when I open certain registers, the download transactions window at the bottom of the form is ALWAYS maximized. I always minimize it. How do I get it to always be minimized as I find this annoying as well because it maximizes whether there is anything to report or not. See attachment.
Anyone?

Why was the CUSIP ID hidden? There isn’t anything private about it.
As I understand the matching process Quicken matches using the CUSIP ID, and you get that prompt to match when Quicken doesn’t have a security with that CUSIP ID. What I don’t completely understand is exactly what Quicken would do it for instance you had a security with one CUSIP ID and the you told it that a downloaded security with a different CUSIP ID matched. Maybe just what you are seeing. I also don’t exactly know what the don’t match a downloaded security setting in the security does and if it plays into this. Maybe @Jim_Harman or @q_lurker can help on this problem.
As for the Downloaded Transactions tab always opening Quicken has always have problems with this. There are random times I have to close it. But if it is consistently doing it the two problems may be related. As in it thinks the “new security” is a.reason it open it.
