Schwab, and Merrill getting the CC-501 Error. Still today (11/01), it continues.

Also, one step update is VERY Slow. At other times it completes in the usual timeframe, but reports the CC-501 errors referenced above.

More information for quicken. I turned animation back on, ran the update and it still hung. I turned animations back off and then it completed correctly. This is incredibly annoying! Apparently you have to toggle it every day to keep it working…..

    As of 9:00 AM Eastern:

Merrill Lynch and Fidelity (each launched individually) run for 4-5 minutes then fail with CC-501 error. Both were working as of midnight last night.

C'mon Quicken - these EWC+ transitions are stressful enuf. We don't need this stuff in the mix too,

    Addl info:

Bank of America banking and credit cards (Amex, Costco Visa, Chase MC) all run slow (1-2 minutes) but did complete and transactions did come down.

Still getting CC-501 error since 10/30, up to and including today (11/1) after multiple tries at different time periods - and very slow as noted above. This is about the 3rd time (at least), since Fidelity - or Quickens' - changeover in their download methodology a few months back that this has happened. Kinda reminds me of Einstein's definition of insanity: doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.

I've been a Quicken user for over 20 years, and this has been about the worst I've seen this particular problem.

This isn't what we're supposed to be paying for.

Let's get with the program, Quicken!!

Same here. Resetting accounts at Fidelity and Schwab does not clear this error using the latest version of Quicken Home and Business for Windows. 11/1/2025

Same here for Schwab downloads and slow OSU. Windows Quicken Premier. Identical problem yesterday, seemed cured last evening, now happening again.

My OSU was super slow this morning (November 1), and I got the error messages for Fidelity and Schwab.

But my October 31 activity for both of these brokerages appears to have downloaded correctly. 👍️

Correctly that is, with the exception of the previously identified Fidelity EWC+ issues (short-sale transactions and cash sweep accounts not being handled properly).

OSU super slow this morning but completed without errors. Both computers usually complete OSU in about 45 seconds. This morning it was around 2.5 minutes on each computer.

Windows 11 (2 separate computers)..... Quicken Premier.. HAVE USED QUICKEN CONTINUOUSLY SINCE 1985.

I ran OSU this morning with animations turned off (turned them off yesterday and OSU completed) and it hung on the accounts using EWC or EWC+. Then turned animations back on and they ran successfully. To Marks point, I don't think animations on or off is the root cause, but more of a coincidence. EWC seems to be a potential common denominator.

Just adding to the reports. Same for the last 3 days. All Chase accounts (brokerage, banking, credit cards) affected as well as my Discover credit card. Very slow update. Some transactions managed to download, but not all of them. Haven't seen any responses from Quicken yet this morning.

Same here…schwab, merrill, fidelity. Resetting does not help. This issue is definitely not resolved.

Same issue this morning. Only the accounts with EWC connections are having issues. DC connected accounts are fine.

Same issues as yesterday; Quicken says it has been fixed…has not. I have to say as a long time user I'm considering abandoning this product as hours wasted working around issues like this one outweigh the benefits.

Agree, this problem that was "Resolved" yesterday was not. This type of issue is becoming increasingly frequent and discouraging…

Continuously having these issues because quicken is in reactive mode instead of being pro-active and doing testing!
