Fidelity no muni indicator in memo download
Before, with Fidelity on the memo line, my municipal bonds downloaded with an item on the memo. Today, I see I had no memo. So it was very hard to tell that they were actually muni free interest.

Hello @MACMONEY,
Thank you for sharing your experience.
I have some follow-up questions for you.
- Did this issue start yesterday?
- If not, how long has this been happening?
- Is this only happening with one payee, or is it multiple?
- Do you have any Renaming Rules for this payee?
- You can check by going to Window>Payees & Rules. Then look for the affected payee.
- Do you have any QuickFill Rules for this payee?
- You can check this by going to Window>Payees & Rules>QuickFill Rules. Look for the affected payee.
If you do have rules for this payee, I would delete them and then see if these transactions still download without a memo.
Looking forward to your response.

This all started with the conversion of to direct connect so I would say October 1st. As stated in memo line it would always download with the word MUNI that way I knew how to classify the interest now the memo is always blank so I don't know which interest is regular or which interest is muni. Please fix.

@MACMONEY Try this: click on one of the transactions and select View > Show Inspector from the menu. In the Trasnsactions Inspector window which opens, look near the bottom for the line "STATEMENT MEMO". This is showing exactly what is coming in from your financial institution labeled as a Memo. If it is blank, then there's nothing Quicken (or their connectivity provider, Intuit) can do to fix it, because there's nothing that Fidelity is sending labeled as a Memo. That would have to be fixed by Fidelity. There's a good chance that when Fidelity built their new export code, it doesn't have everything their previous one did.

Thanks Jacobs you are 100% correct I looked at an old file since quicken had to rebuild my file so that corrupted a lot of source data. But in my 04/1 old file in statement memo it states = MUNI EXEMPT INT .. In the recent download the statement memo now has the security so this is why this feature is lost and I agree this occurred on Fidelity. I have written to my fidelity specialist and hope they can get these problems fixed. As right now a lot of fidelity is becoming very manual to update once I download.
