    I have the same issue. The balance column does not match the today's balance for a credit card account.

    Is your account register correctly sorted by Date in ascending order (newest transaction at bottom of register)?
    If the register is sorted by some other register column or filtered to only show certain transactions, the Running Balance may be meaningless.
