Trouble with BOA download...not being accepted by Quicken Classic Deluxe (iMac)

When importing QFX file from BOA, error msg appears in Quicken (for Mac):

"Download Unavailable

Quicken is unable to update this account because WEB Connect support for your financial institution has been either temporarily or permanently discontinued. (CC-885)"

One for the QFX files is 14K so there is data there. What does it mean that BOA has discontinued support for WEB Connect Support???

    I do not want to connect BOA to Quicken. I download my QFX files myself. Is this not an option now?

    Thanks for reaching out!

    The CC-885 error you’re seeing is happening because Bank of America has discontinued support for QFX (Web Connect) downloads.

    The only way to continue downloading transactions into Quicken is by setting your accounts up to connect with Bank of America via Express Web Connect+ (Quicken Connect). You can find more information about this change in this Community Announcement.

    @Quicken Anja Maybe that announcement should be edited to mention it is Quicken Connect for Quicken Mac?

    EDIT: I also suggest that the part mentioning Express Web Connect + and Quicken Connect me moved to before the part suggesting using a CSV file since that is the preferred way to do it.

    @Quicken Anja Express Web Connect+ (Quicken Connect) is not an option when I attempt to download from the B of A website. How can I download transactions for importing into Quicken? Thanks! Mike

    Thanks for reaching out!

    Quicken Connect (Express Web Connect+) isn’t something you’ll see on the bank’s website—it’s accessed directly from within Quicken. You can use it to download transactions without going through the bank’s site.

    Please see this Help Article for instructions on switching the connection type.
