Error Occurred While Installing Quicken Classic on Windows--what next?

Quicken user for 30 years.

The last few days I've been having multiple issues with downloading transactions, hanging and freezing, and syncing to the online backup. After trying multiple suggestions in the community, I decided to do a clean install. Tried that, and received this screenshot.

After receiving the above (screenshot) error, I manually deleted the installation folder, and tried reinstalling Quicken. Did this several times with no changes. Here's the log file. What I am doing wrong?

Hello @kgescobedo,

Thank you for letting us know you're encountering this issue. The information from the log that you included shows you're using Microsoft Windows Vista as your operating system. Is that correct? If it is, that may be part of the problem. According to our article on system requirements, the current version of Quicken is intended to be used with Windows 10 & 11: https://www.quicken.com/support/quicken-system-requirements/#section-windows-1 .

I also notice the info at the bottom of the log you shared shows there was a version mismatch. It shows a file version of 27.1.3.4, which is from before the subscription version of Quicken. Do you have an older version of Quicken installed on your computer?
