US Bank QFX File will not open

About a week ago, Quicken started not being able to open the QFX file from USBank. Quicken starts to import, then I get an error message box saying contact my financial institution. I can open QFX files from Capitol One and Apple Card. I am using version 8.4.2.

US Bank support was no help, any suggestions?

    Hello @kcjoe1956,

    Thank you for letting us know you're seeing this issue. To help troubleshoot, please provide more information. What is the exact error message you are seeing? It would be helpful if you could include a screenshot of the error message. If needed, please refer to this Community FAQ for instructions on how to attach a screenshot. Alternatively, you can also drag and drop screenshots to your response if you are not given the option to add attachments.

    Does this happen when you're trying to update an existing account, or when you're trying to import data for a new account?

    I look forward to your response!

    Please edit the downloaded QFX with TextEdit or any other ASCII text editor and show us (copy/paste) the first few lines in that file. They should look something like this:
    <FI>
    <ORG>????
    <FID>?????
    </FI>
    <INTU.BID>?????
    <INTU.USERID>????

    I'm interested to see the <FID> and <INTU.BID> numbers, to check if they're correctly pointing to a bank record in Quicken's FIDIR.TXT file which still supports QFX downloads. The bank may have recently requested changes to their third party access profiles with Intuit Inc and ignored updating the QFX file headers.
