Quicken Stopped Connecting with RBC Wealth Management [Edited]

I recently changed the username and password for my broker for better security reasons. I put the exact same username and password in the vault. However, it says "Sorry, Quicken was not able to connect with this password." I just now connected with the username and password that is in Quicken. Tried to troubleshoot it in the program, but to no avail.

The login has 2-step authentication. Is that a problem?

Just looking for some help.

I am on a Windows 11 computer and am using Quicken Classic Deluxe Version R65.29. My Broker account is at RBC Wealth Management.

When you do TOOLS, Account List …. what shows in the "Transaction Download" column next to this account?

Are there any special characters in your ID or password? Which?

There's some that Q can't use because they have special meaning in the HTML protocol, and interfere with Q's connections even though they work perfectly well when you login to the website.

2FA is irrelevant to this issue.

And, re-reading you post, I'm confused by your "just now connected" statement as it would seem to contradict the unable to use the password statement. Please clarify.
