Investment account daily cash balance
Is there a report or way to export to excel or csv the register for an investment account that will show a daily cash balance?

Nope, just the "transaction by transaction" balance that's shown by printing the account register.
But I suppose that you could export that report to a CSV file and import into Excel.

If all you want to see is the cash balance by day, go to Reports > Net Worth & Balances > Net worth
Select the date range you want and set the interval to Daily
Click on the gear to customize
Select the account you want
On the Securities tab, select No Security (includes cash) and money market funds if you want to include them
Click on OK to display the report
To export, click on the icon to the right of the printer.
