I have Quicken Classic Business and Personal for Mac, and I have been experiencing similar issues with a couple of my Fidelity accounts. [Edited - Readability]

    Hello @baveritt,

Thank you for reaching out! To help troubleshoot, please provide more information:

    • Are you seeing incorrect cash balances/values?
    • When did the issue start?
    • Is cash tracked as cash or tracked using a fund?
      • If it's tracked using a fund, which fund is it?

Please also be aware that there is currently a known issue with missing transactions, incorrect balances, and missing securities from Fidelity. For more information, please review this Community Alert:

I look forward to your reply!

Yes, In 5 of my Fidelity accounts the core Money Market position is missing. For example, FZFXX is missing from several accounts. Also there is negative cash in a couple accounts, which is inaccurate.

I saw the following post in the Community section of support, but I am not sure how my Quicken tracks Core Cash:

If You Track Fidelity Core Cash as Cash

    • New Fidelity Core Cash transactions should not download separately.
    • They will be treated as cash and reflected directly in your account’s cash balance.
    • You can manage this setting by going to:
Edit > Preferences > Downloaded Transactions
and enabling “Never interpret downloaded money market funds as cash.”
If you’ve been tracking Fidelity Core Cash as cash, you may notice some recent transactions (from the past few weeks) downloaded incorrectly as Money Market transactions with a transaction type of CvrShrt.
If you plan to continue tracking Fidelity Core Cash as cash, these incorrectly downloaded transactions should be deleted.
If You Track Fidelity Core Cash as a Money Market Fund
    • Fidelity Core Cash transactions will download as Buy and Sell transactions, which is expected behavior.

    Thank you for your replies,

Those instructions are for Quicken for Windows. You won't find those options in Quicken for Mac.

When you say the core position is missing, do you mean it's not showing up as a security, but is reflecting in the cash balance, or do you mean it's not showing up at all?

Are there any placeholders, duplicate transactions, or missing transactions that may be causing the negative cash balance?

I look forward to your response!
