Can't add additional Fidelity account to Quicken
I've been able to download 7 existing accounts with Fidelity for at least one year. However, when I created a new account with Fidelity that account won't add into Quicken. When I try to add the account the following occurs:
It sends me to Fidelity's site where I login
Fidelity then displays a page with an agreement.
I click both check boxes to accept then click next
Fidelity displays a list of all seven of my existing accounts plus the new account
I click the check box for all of the accounts and click next
The Fidelity site then notifies me that it will return to Quicken.
Quicken then displays only the 7 existing accounts and a dialog for all of those linking them to my existing account in Quicken. However, the new account doesn't show up there.
I have tried deactivating online access for all seven existing accounts and retried adding the accounts, but still can only connect to the seven existing accounts.
I tried disabling Quicken's rights on the Fidelity site, deactivating online access in Quicken and attempted to add again, but still only get the seven existing accounts.
Can someone provide any solution to this problem?

What type of account, at Fidelity, is this 8th account? Which Fidelity website (they have several) do you use to access it?
How do you have it setup in Q? What type of account in Q?

The login I use to view my accounts takes me to digital.fidelity.com, I can see all my accounts with that login.
The 8th account is a Trust Investment Account. For all the other accounts Quicken uses Express Web Connect+
I don't have the 8th account in Quicken yet because it won't connect. Should I create it as a standalone account and then try to add the online access afterwards?

@cloughbe - Is your trust account a brokerage account that holds publicly traded securities like stocks, bonds, brokered CDs, mutual funds and EFTs? I have a trust account that is a standard brokerage account and it downloads into Quicken just fine.
Or does it hold alternative investments that are not traded in the public markets, such as private funds, private REITs, life insurance, etc.? Some trust accounts at Fidelity are set up as SMAs (Separately Managed Accounts) and some SMAs include non-publicly traded securities. It is my understanding that Fidelity does not always support downloading accounts into Quicken when those accounts include investments that are not publicly traded.

It is a standard brokerage account which can hold stocks, bonds, mutual funds, etc.
The trust account shows as an account that can be connected to by Fidelity exactly like all the accounts that are connecting. Quicken just seems to not want to connect to it for some unknown reason.

@cloughbe Yeah, try setting it up as an offline brokerage acct and then connecting.

I had tried setting it as an offline brokerage account yesterday, but it still wouldn't connect.
However, for an unknown reason when I tried to add a new account today it finally allowed it to be added. So the problem is solved, but with no idea why it finally worked this time

Could Fidelity have only created the account yesterday … which is why it only connected today?
Otherwise, yeah you've got a mystery … but I'm glad it's resolved.
