Request to Include Investment Category in Budget Planning

Please add an option to see investment interest and divident income in budget planning, as it is not there presently.

    I don't quite understand your question.
    In current versions of Quicken for Windows, Investment Categories have always been available for Budget Planning. You just need to include these Personal Income categories into your budget. For example:

    Thanks for your responce…My request was made after working with a Quicken Tech who responded to my phone call. He defined the issue as needing a new Investment Catergory, and together we wrote my original entry above with request for new Investment catergory in Planning.

    Here is a detailed example of the problem. The Planning Budget does not differentiate between taxable and nontaxable, neither for dividends or interest income…..as is done in the Itemized Catergories Report (ICR). My ICR contains enteries for both taxable and nontaxable on both dividends and interest. The Planning Budget does not. Instead, Planning adds together taxable and nontaxable from the ICR into a single entry in the taxable category. Nontaxable catergory has only zeros. If you have further questions or if someone wants to telephone me I can demonstate the problem via screen sharing.
