Conversion from one type account to another (Q Mac)

Hello. Many years ago I set up a Money Mkt Fund as a Bank Account and now would like to convert it to what it really is, a Mutual Fund, in Quicken for Mac Classic Premier V8.4. Is that possible???? That particular account is not connected or being downloaded from Vanguard.

    Hello @Scalpel1,

    Thank you for reaching out! Manual accounts do give you some leeway to change account type, but you're not able to change a banking account into an investment account.

    That said, you may be able to backup your Quicken file, then create a new account with the correct type, and drag/drop the transactions into that new account.
