Payment recognized as income

I created a report using the new interface to show spending on a specific credit card on a yearly basis. Transaction Type in the Advanced tab is set to Payments.

One specific transaction is being recognized as income rather than expense. In this particular case, it was a payment of state income taxes owed which I paid 4/15/26.

Any thoughts?

What category was used with that payment, and what's the Tax Line associated with the category.

In that (or other payments during the month) were there any splits, which could have caused this?

It's actually being shown as a "negative" income. That would suggest that the Category you used when you recorded the payment is an "income" Category. Maybe that's what's going on here?
