You can use the Windows convention for selecting transactions, e.g., click on the first transaction, move down to the last transaction and do {shift}-click, then right click in the selection and click on "Delete."

First, make sure you have a good backup at hand.

For an investment account, you can generate a BANKING transaction report customized to that investment account. With that report, you can select several transactions, and then click the Edit button to get the Delete option. I would treat that as a irreversible action, thus the importance of the backup first. There could be unintended consequences - such as deleting the buy of a lot when there is a later specified sale of that same lot.

These days you can select the gear icon in the upper right of the investment account and select "Edit Multiple Transactions". From there you can select the transactions and then the Delete button. But yes, certainly people should have a good backup before doing this.

Also, for the case of using the Windows convention of selecting transactions which is used in the non-investment accounts, if the transactions aren't all in a row you can use Ctrl+click on a transaction to toggle it being selected.
