Adding $0.00 as a register display

There are some Quicken register entries for which the transaction total = $0.00 but when this occurs, a blank appears in the Charge column.

This commonly occurs in Amazon entries when Rewards or Gift Cards are allocated toward a purchase.

It would be useful if Quicken Classic Premier for Windows could be re-coded to display $0.00 whenever the Charge total is $Zero.

Thank you,

    Good suggestion.

However, Quicken seems to consider $0.00 transactions as Income transactions … you'll notice that when you try to start with a $0.00 transaction amount and then try to add Splits as in your example: a charge and an immediate refund / deposit with correct - or + signs.

    Therefore …

    • $0.00 should be shown in the Payment column
    • if the Amount column is used in the register, $0.00 should be shown in the Amount column
    • reports should be reviewed, to also show $0.00 where necessary

    Thank you for your consideration.
