Quicken Classic - Running Balance
I've been a Quicken user for over 25 years. The ONLY reason that I have not moved from Classic to Simplifi is simply because Quicken refuses to add a running balance. This is HUGE for myself and from what I've found in my research, the same for others. Quicken will lose a huge amount of users simply because of this shortfall and if they don't do it quickly, a competitor will and will gain Quicken's users. Just because it's not important to Quicken, doesn't mean that it's not important to thousands of users. Just make it an option? We can turn it off or on? It's really not that difficult.

What would you call the column (I've only shown the header) on the far right???
The Balance column, with a running amount, has been available in every version of Q for as long as I've used Q.
IF you're not showing that, click the GEAR icon in the upper right of the account register, click "Register Columns" and check "Balance".
What type of account do you erroneously believe it doesn't exist in?
Q user since February, 1990. DOS Version 4
