Feature request for improving exports to Excel
I'd like to see a feature enhancement in Quicken Classic. Quicken exports various reports to Excel. If the report contains nesting, the Excel spreadsheet indicates the nesting with indentation. That provides some clarity. However, Excel supports the same collapsibility/expandability that the exported report had in Quicken. It would be valuable to me if the exported report preserved that capability in Excel.

I agree. Or give the option of CVS delimited. I have to go in and take out the S for the split ones, copy the preceding data, copy entire sheet to 123 to protect the data, then take out the titles and date rows to get the headers. Very time consuming especially for an entire year's transactions.

Yes, that would definitely be a value add. Excel does a number of things better than Quicken does, but that is kneecapped by limitations in export format.

This is a good idea. Any change to the export that would create less work to get the data into a form for easier manipulation in Excel would be welcome.

Current Quicken for Windows subscription user. I usually upgrade to the latest version about 1 week after full release.0
